Early Caterpillar tractors and steam tractors that made Holt famous. Created by the company as a record of the steam & gas tractors built between 1894 & 1912. They built 133 steam traction engines, most were sold to farms. This is the most complete photograph of either Holt steam or early Caterpillar tractors ever published.
